Portfolio: SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
These are examples of images created specifically for scientific research. Most of these images are "ultra-macro", created using digital image stacking to achieve the required depth-of-field. I've been working with faculty, staff, and graduate students at U.C. Berkeley (Department of Integrative Biology, U.C. Museum of Paleontology, and U.C. Museum of Vertebrate Zoology) since January, 2012 to produce images which are used to illustrate academic research papers and scientific presentations.
